A few more from Shane's. . .

A few more photographs of my rolling stock on Shane Murphy's M-K-T/T&P-based layout in North Texas, taken during a running night last week.

That is a magnificent mail train Blair, exactly right except for the lack of guard's accomodation! (That's a KB parcels van - no guard's compartment, not an MHO passenger brake van) The Detail Police are watching! A 'bung' is on the way... ;o)

Getting closer, anyway. Now, will the next Austrains offering of the LHO and KP remove the bung from my record? Or in the interim, can I just run a standard guard's van (MHG, GHG, etc.) on the train in its place?

Sorry, 'bungs' are permanent... ;o) However, you can rehabiltate yourself and head off any future bungs by using a goods brake van (unusual, but not unheard of), until you can take delivery of an LHO! You have the Powerline KB, were you not able to aquire a Powerline MHO?

Blair,
you are going to work on this guy a little harder. I reckon you can convert him over to NSW modelling in no time.
Great shots.
